Black Forest Ham

Adler Schwarzwald Black Forest Ham. Carefully preserved with salt applied by hand and traditional, regional seasonings, then slowly cold smoked for 3 weeks over pine twigs, sawdust and wood chips from the Black Forest Fir trees. Ham then rests and matures for 3 months to create a rich color and mild, unique smoky flavor. Comes vacuum-packed in 5 or 10 pound hams. Slice very thin for sandwiches, on crackers, or for meat trays. Also used as a flavoring in pastas, side dishes, and vegetable dishes.
